Check the result in this order:
- Confirm Tazewell in the Facility field instead of assuming the Washington case was housed at Abingdon.
- Compare the displayed name, Book Date, Release Date, Booking Number, and Jacket.
- Use at least one more identifier, such as date of birth or case number, when available.
- Expand the record and read each populated case, charge, bond, sentence, agency, court, and hold field.
- Search Current mode or the receiving system when the record suggests a transfer.
- Call Tazewell or request the final transaction if the outcome is still unclear.
The authority supports a configurable “Released in Last X Days” search. It does not publish a fixed refresh rate or a maximum online history. An empty result can mean the interval is too narrow, the spelling differs, the booking belongs to another facility, the event has not posted, or the record is no longer practical to reach online.

Verify Tazewell Custody Transfers

Do not treat a no-result in the wrong jurisdiction as evidence of release.
